  • Expensive but a bit special. Treated Charlotte as it’s an art themed hotel
  • Also in trendy Shoreditch
• The Rembrandt Hotel

  • Really nice 4 star hotel that can be booked at a good price
  • In South Kensington(Museums area) opposite Victoria and Albert Museum
  • Had a gym and Pool included but we didn’t get to use it

Try to avoid

The area around Buckingham Palace and Victoria/Belgravia. A lot of hotels that I’ve had to stay in for work which are usually dirty and a rip off.

Travelodge/Premier Inns

Basic motels, but usually clean with breakfast in good areas

  • By river but also by a busy train station. Good Breakfast
  • Good for South London for gigs etc. A favourite of ours for nights out.

• London Bridge Travelodge

  • Good for the centre but also next to busy train station

• hub by Premier Inn London King’s Cross hotel

  • Bit newer and more upmarket. Had a nice stay here before getting a train to Paris the next morning.
  • Good for Kings Cross and St Pancras(where the Eurostar trains go from)
